Of the 28,280 PGA of America members and apprentices, there are only 344 PGA Master Professionals. Master Professionals have achieved  the highest level of experience in golf instruction. Being a Master Professionl, my goal is to help you develop and improve golf skills for all levels through one on one personal instruction.

For the past 28 years, I have been the head golf professional at Portage Country Club in Akron, Ohio.  I am the eighth head golf professional since 1894. Denny Shute and Al Espinosa are two of my predecessors.

I have been the owner and director of the Palm Springs Golf Academy, since I founded the program in 1983.  We have graduated over eighteen hundred students during this time. To find more information about our school, please visit www.palmspringsgolfacademy.com.

I have been a member at The Palms in LaQuinta, California, since the club was founded in 2000.  We have great practice facilities and I incorporate state-of-the-art video and teaching aids into my lessons.
